Starting in October, I will be blogging about as many of my favorite unsolved mysteries from history, both ancient and modern. Excited? Me too. If I could go back in time, I would have been a history major from the start, digging into the who’s, how’s, and why’s of the past. Since I don’t have a time machine, I will do the next best thing and use this platform to bring some of the forgotten histories back to light. Wouldn’t it be cool to solve one of them? Here is the list that I hope to cover this month, but maybe not in this order.
- What Happened to Amelia Earhart?
- Who was Jack the Ripper?
- What started the Dancing Plague?
- Is there a monster in Loch Ness?
- Was there a hidden city of Atlantis?
- Agatha Christie and the 11 missing days
- The Bermuda Triangle
- What happened to the crew of the Mary Celeste?
- Where did D.B. Cooper go?
- Who stole the Amber Room?
- Was there a King Arthur?
- Where are the feet coming from?
- Will Kryptos ever be solved?
- Why do we have the Nazca lines?
- Who was the man in the iron mask?
- What do we know about flight MH370?
- Does Bigfoot really exist?
Do you have a favorite mystery that I should look into? Leave me a comment below. I am looking forward to bringing out my inner historian and diving into mystery month!
To quote my favorite detective… “the game is afoot!”

What happened to the Roanoke Colonies? (Crotoan)
Great idea! I actually studied that one briefly and it is interesting for sure!
